Work Process

Step 1: Your idea or drawings. 

Before start mould production we have to know very well what does

customer need, what kind of plastic or aluminium part do you need 

to produce. We accept your ideain words, sketches, any kind of 2D 

drawings, various 3D formats, samples, etc.

Step 2: Part design. 

With our international team, GStar Mould has the expertise to assist

 you in the final stages of your part design. We provide manufacturability

 check up, mold flow check up and so on to guarantee low parts and

mold production cost and troubles mold operation. You will get our

 suggestion clearly in written form with pictures. We will show you

location of injection points, parting lines, etc. If needed, we can

pro-vide samples from 3D-printer.

Step 3: Mold design.

According to your specification, we will design the mould. After

designing we will provide you 2D assembly drawings and 3D drawings.

Step 4: Mold production.

During the production stage, we will send you regular updates of

process status and process photos.

Step 5: Quality control (QC) during production.

During the mould production, all production stages are on the Quality

Management department supervision. All mold parts from external suppliers

 goes through quality control. We are using standard measuring equipment

and 2.5D Optical Measuring Table, Shore and Brinell Hardness Meters.

Step 6: Trial and adjustments.

We have our own Injection Molding Machines which makes moulds

trial process fast and easy. After trial phase we will send you initial

 samples (usually called "T1 samples") and then we will make

adjustments if needed.

Step 7: Final treatment and trial.

After you get T1 samples, you can check on part dimensions

 and the quality of the samples, try to assemble your parts and

so on. If need we can make some engineering changes in your

 part in accordance with your requirements. After the final treatment

 we will try your mould once again and then we will send you new samples.

Step 8: Shipment.

When all steps completed in a good way, mold shipment comes next.

We will shipo out all important spare parts (seals, ejectors, etc),

mold passport with mould drawings. Our standard package for overseas

delivery is wet proof wooden crate
