Multiple Purpose Adaptation: Injection Molding Plastic Parts

GSTAR Mould has the capability to use injection molds to produce a wide range of custom plastic parts, each tailored to specific requirements. Whether it’s for automotive, consumer electronics, or any other industry, we can craft plastic components that are not only high in quality but also perfectly suited for their intended purpose.

Injection Molding Materials

We offer a wide range of materials for your selection to ensure the best quality and performance of products. We can source thousands of materials based on your specific needs. We provide accurate machining quotes for over 50 plastics.

Plastic Materials

With an extended range of plastic materials, you can choose what fits your needs perfectly. Each material has qualities that include heat resistance, impact strength, wear resistance, and many more.

Additives and Fibers

We incorporate additives and fibers to enhance the quality and esthetics of standard plastic materials. The process increases the functionality and performance of the molded product.

Composite Materials

We utilize composite materials to enhance the overall performance of products, combining different materials to improve strength, heat resistance, and weight optimization. These materials are essential for high-performance and innovative applications.

Large-Scale Part Manufacturing Capability

In addition to high-precision micro parts, GSTAR Mold is equipped to manufacture large-size plastic components. Our advanced injection molding systems and mold design capabilities allow us to produce parts up to 1.2 meters in length, suitable for automotive interiors, industrial components, and large medical housings. With a focus on dimensional stability and tooling precision, we ensure consistent quality even for large-volume items.

How do I know if injection molding is right for me?

The best way to determine whether injection molding is the right solution for your custom part is to review the specific requirements of your plastic component with an expert. However, here are a few key considerations: Does your product require high-volume production with consistent repeatability? One of the primary advantages of injection molding is its ability to scale efficiently, delivering precise and uniform results across large production runs—from the first part to the last.

Likewise, the cost per piece declines with increased quantity.

As production volume increases, the cost efficiency of injection molding improves significantly. This makes it an ideal choice for manufacturing thousands or even millions of high-precision plastic parts. If you're considering large-scale production, plastic injection molding may be the most effective solution. Reach out today for a no-obligation quote and expert guidance on your project.

What if I don’t need thousands of parts?

3D printing in plastics is also available and often well-suited for small batch production. Whether the project is large or small, every job is handled with the same commitment to quality and service standards. No matter the scale, you can expect consistent results and professional support throughout the entire process.

What is Included

1) 1-2 days for DFM(Design for manufacturability)

2) 2-3 days for mold 3D design

3) 3.5-5 weeks for tooling and sampling

4) 5-10 days for 1K-5K production

Yes, you can. if it is a mold making or molding problem, we will take care of it. If it is a part design change, the cost will be on you, so we propose to do a prototype to verify the design before mold making if you are not so sure about the part design.

For contract molding project, injection mold cost is always a one time charge,we provide  lifetime mold maintenance free of charge.

Definitely yes, but note the mold cost will be different for export mold since we naturally want to win the molding orders by a much lower mold cost or even no profit  as we can count on consistent molding orders.
